Regional resiliency analyses address issues of how regions respond, adjust, and recover from major perturbative events, such as conflict, natural disasters, or climate change. Analyzing these issues requires that takes a system level view of the interconnected elements of a region.
In this presentation, an overview will be given of how regional resiliency can be assessed with some results given from a real world example. A discussion will also be given of the challenges being faced in developing and analyzing efforts to improve the resiliency in a given area.
