The author of such works as Animal Liberation, The Life You Can Save, One World, and Practical Ethics, Peter Singer, the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics
at Princeton University, is arguably the world's most famous and influential philosopher. In this talk, half lecture and half q and a, he will be addressing what he regards as humanity's greatest ethical challenge--climate change. The issue of climate change raises some of the toughest ethical questions about our obligations to future generations, optimal population size, what makes life worth living, and what individuals can effectively do to meet the threat of environmental disaster.
